Justice the Court Dog Activity Book is a fun and educational tool for elementary children to learn about court.  The activity book contains a summary of the people who work in the court and some of the words that children may encounter in court.  It also contains some basic rules for being in court.  The activity book contains child-friendly activities such as a word search, a crossword puzzle, a maze and a coloring page.  This can be used in conjunction with the book Justice the Court Dog and the Missing Gavel or as a standalone tool.  The activity book can be downloaded and printed anywhere so children can learn in the comfort of their home or at the courthouse.

Justice the Court Dog and The Missing Gavel: A Child’s Guide to Court written by Isabella Cook is a tale of a therapy dog in a courthouse and helps kids understand the people and places they will encounter in court. Justice is given the job of finding the Judge’s missing gavel. Through her adventure, Justice meets important people in the courthouse, including a judge, a prosecutor, a sheriff’s deputy, an interpreter and many others. Justice will help kids feel comfortable in court and assure them that court is a safe place full of helpful people.
